About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional and technical supervision to the GMP manufacturing units, ensuring compliance with current clinical, GMP, GCP, and Quality guidelines.
  • Work within the Quality Assurance team to focus on elements of the QMS, including the documentation system, and provide micro and QC support.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are competent in quality assurance and aseptic practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and/or aseptic services, with a strong understanding of GMP, QA, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • IT literate, with intermediate IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
