About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and growing company that is committed to sustainability and innovation. As a Government Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing our government affairs strategy, with a focus on UK and EU policy issues
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key policymakers, industry associations, and external stakeholders
  • Representing Novelis' interests in meetings with policymakers, advocacy groups, and industry representatives
  • Providing strategic advice to our leadership team on policy and regulatory matters
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A higher education degree in public policy, political science, law, or a related field
  • A minimum of 6-8 years' experience in public policy, legislative affairs, lobbying, or a related field
  • A strong network of contacts in the UK, with a demonstrated interest and working knowledge of policy issues such as circular economy, climate, and trade
  • Strategic thinking, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
