This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people with complex needs. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be integral to maintaining the high-quality reputation of our organization, assisting in leading a team dedicated to providing specialist residential care, therapy, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Deputy Manager with supervising staff, ensuring quality care, and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Help ensure compliance with legislation and support the management of a team of Support Workers.
- Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to create a safe and nurturing environment for young people.
About You:
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in children and young people's workforce or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulations.
- Driven to work holistically with other professionals to ensure young people reach their full potential.
- Must be a driver.
- Passionate and enthusiastic about helping young people.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to negotiate, influence, and exercise emotional intelligence.
