We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our health and safety standards and procedures in accordance with our guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Horizon scanning for new legislation and guidance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring of relevant legislation and our legal register to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of all relevant legislation and its implications on our business and colleagues.
- Ensuring our health and safety standards and procedures remain current and fit for purpose.
- Confirming compliance with standards and procedures through testing and effectiveness of controls.
- Managing and holding to account external suppliers to ensure they operate in line with contractual requirements.
- Building excellent relationships with our Property and Business areas to ensure Health and Safety is seen as an enabler to successful change and people management.
- Ensuring our policies and standards are inclusive and suitable for everyone.
Requirements
- Education to Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant Health and Safety topic.
- Additional experience in the management of fire, property, and construction safety.
- Member of a recognized health and safety professional body (IOSH, IIRSM, or equivalent in fire).
- Ability to interpret data and make data-led decisions.
- Willingness to upskill as required to meet our duties and support the business in delivering competent health and safety advice.
