Technical Advisor for Automotive Coatings - Join a leading organization in the coatings sector, recognized for its commitment to innovation and sustainability. This role focuses on providing expert support in automotive refinishing, enhancing color solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Training and Support: Deliver specialized training and assistance to automotive body shops and dealerships, ensuring readiness for customer demands and facilitating new product introductions.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with clients through effective communication and regular interactions.
  • Product Knowledge: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for Axalta and U-Pol products, offering technical guidance and support.
  • Problem Resolution: Address product-related inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and evaluate data, report findings, and implement necessary actions based on insights.
  • Quality Improvement: Assist clients in enhancing the quality and efficiency of their product usage.
  • Travel and Safety: Be prepared for domestic travel to provide training and support, while prioritizing safety protocols.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Paint: Strong knowledge of color theory, paint application techniques, and defect identification.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationally as required.
  • Instrument Familiarity: Proficient in using spectroscopic tools.
  • Computer Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative Team Member: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
