**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Associate to join our Claims Team at Verlingue. As a Claims Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's claims needs, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the delivery of our Claims Vision.
Key Responsibilities:- Claims Registration and Reporting: Register new claims and report to insurers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Correspondence and Liaison: Deal with incoming correspondence and liaise with insurers as necessary to resolve claims efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients at all times, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Claims Resolution: Actively contribute to the resolution of claims, negotiating with insurers and loss adjusters as required.
- Portfolio Management: Proactively manage a portfolio of claims to ensure timely resolution and high-quality service.
- Escalation and Communication: Escalate matters to the Claims Relationship Manager or Line Manager as required, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and insurers.
- Efficiency and Quality: Carry out all activities in the most efficient and cost-effective manner without compromising on quality or client satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice, and the Company's own procedures and rules.
- Fair Treatment: Ensure that clients are treated fairly and with respect at all times.
- Conflict of Interest: Be aware of and manage any potential conflict of interest, escalating to the Line Manager as required.
- Complaints and Feedback: Escalate complaints to the Line Manager and complete complaints information on Acturis as instructed.
- Broker Assess: Complete Broker Assess annually.
- Workflow Information: Provide workflow information to the Line Manager on a weekly basis, as required.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and other suppliers.
- Problem Solving: Immediately advise the Manager of any problem, issue, or request that falls outside your authority, level of experience, or knowledge.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any additional duties specifically assigned to you or reasonably requested by your Manager.
- Claims Vision and Company Game Plan: Actively contribute to and strive towards the delivery of the Claims Vision and overarching Company Game Plan.
- Company Values and Behaviours: Demonstrate and be a role model for the Company's Values and Behaviours.
- Professionalism and Teamwork: Maintain a strong level of professionalism at all times and be a strong team player within Claims and the wider business.
- Problem Solving and Communication: Be an active listener and problem solver, always actively participating and ready to help and build others up.
