About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at haysmacintyre. As an Audit Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting our Audit Managers with managing their portfolio and clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Audit Managers with audit planning, onsite reviews, and audit completion.
  • Liaise with tax and other departments to ensure seamless communication.
  • Work closely with clients to answer questions and requests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise audit staff, providing feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality work.
  • Assist with one-off projects, such as tendering for new work and research into specific sectors or companies.
  • Contribute to non-client projects within the audit department, showcasing your skills and expertise.
Person Specification
  • A proactive and 'can-do' attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise key work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong technical accounting and auditing skills, with a desire to continuously develop and improve.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, with relevant professional experience.
Work-Based Competencies
  • Proficient in MS Office, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to execute audits with limited support, demonstrating independence and initiative.
