Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated GCSE English Instructors to enhance our educational offerings for the forthcoming academic period. In this role, you will provide customized, individual, and small group tutoring sessions tailored to the unique needs of each student. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting students from diverse educational backgrounds, both through face-to-face and virtual sessions.
  • Creating and executing engaging lesson plans that cater to the distinct learning preferences and requirements of each student.
  • Offering additional assistance to students with SEN or EHCPs, ensuring that your instructional strategies are inclusive and effective.
  • Tracking and evaluating student progress, delivering constructive feedback, and modifying teaching approaches as needed.
  • Working in partnership with educators, SEN coordinators, and guardians to foster a unified approach to each student's educational journey.
  • Encouraging and inspiring students to reach their full potential and cultivate a passion for English.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of the GCSE English curriculum.
  • Experience working with students who have SEN and/or EHCPs is preferred.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a sincere enthusiasm for facilitating student success.
  • Capability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
