Investment Research Specialist

Position Overview: As an Investment Research Specialist at Hargreaves Lansdown, you will play a pivotal role in the evaluation and examination of investment opportunities, particularly focusing on funds that exhibit strong long-term growth potential for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of assigned funds and investment sectors, contributing to the Wealth Shortlist.
- Collaborate with a knowledgeable team and report directly to the Lead Investment Analyst, sharing insights and facilitating team discussions.
- Generate comprehensive sector reviews, investment articles, and fund updates to be featured on the company website and in client communications.
- Take ownership of detailed fund analysis within designated investment sectors, with the primary goal of recommending additions or removals from the Wealth Shortlist.
- Produce engaging investment content, including quarterly sector reviews and specialist articles, aimed at enhancing client understanding and attracting new clientele.
- Maintain current knowledge of market trends and investment sectors by analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, and prepare monthly dashboards for team discussions.
- Utilize your expertise to assist Financial Advisors and Helpdesk colleagues in addressing investment-related client inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in critically analyzing quantitative data to assess investment viability.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, investment trends, and relevant current affairs.
- Proficient knowledge of various asset classes and investment strategies.
- Ability to cultivate professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional writing skills with a keen attention to detail, adhering to established tone of voice guidelines.
- Possession of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) or an equivalent industry qualification at RQF Level 4 is advantageous.
