Oliver Valves, a global market-leader in precision-quality solutions, is seeking a talented Sales Professional to join our team as an Area Sales Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing our key accounts in the Southern Region of the UK, with some international coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presentation of our products and capabilities to key accounts
  • Account management of existing key accounts, including OEM, end-user, and engineering contractor levels
  • Selling to instrumentation and piping engineers, as well as key buyers
  • Responsible for feedback to our product development team and coordination of RFQs through to POs
  • Identify competitive postures and work with management to combat them locally
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach, both personally and from all team members

Requirements

  • Mechanical engineering background or equivalent experience
  • Technical sales engineering role with a sales track record
  • Hands-on commercial experience in an engineering or technical sales role
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Results-oriented and strategic thinking
