Job Description

**Job Title:** Mobile Wireless Field Engineer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Wireless Field Engineer to join our team at First Point Group. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance on multi-customer, multi-technology networks, achieving agreed performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, commissioning, integration, and maintenance/fault-finding activities on Ericsson RBS 3000 and 6000 product families, as well as Nokia Flexi and Huawei RBS 3G and RNC product families.
  • Work individually and as part of the field service team to achieve right first-time resolution of work within customer SLAs without compromising safe working practices.
  • Participate in a 24 x 7 callout rota covering all equipment in the Service Area.
  • Keep diligent records and accurately update both internal teams and customer systems where necessary.
  • Undertake personal development to maximize effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Experience of installation, commissioning, integration, and maintenance/fault-finding activity on Ericsson RBS 3000 and 6000 product families, as well as Nokia Flexi and Huawei RBS 3G and RNC product families.
  • Deemed fit to work at height (WAH).
  • Flexibility in approach to working hours will be required due to both spikes in workload and operational requirement to support reactive and planned work requests out of core shift hours.
