Join Our Team as an Oncology Nurse

We are seeking an experienced oncology nurse to join our dedicated team at Spire Leicester Hospital. As a key member of our 17-bedded, purpose-built oncology and haematology unit, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a tight-knit team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, with 4 shifts per week. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing treatment for various types of cancer and blood disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any concerns to the medical team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest treatments and technologies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Oncology experience is highly desirable
  • NMC registration as a nurse with no restrictions
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • UKONS accredited SACT administration is essential
