Position Overview:
As a Stock Administration Team Supervisor at Culina Group, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and enhancing the stock management team and its associated functions. Your responsibilities will encompass streamlining operations, fostering effective communication, and ensuring prompt resolution of challenges. You will directly oversee and nurture the Stock & Admin team, with a strong emphasis on training, performance management, and attendance tracking.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: Annual Salary of £31,000
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and development plans (PDPs) with team members to facilitate continuous growth.
- Organize and maintain the departmental schedule to ensure sufficient coverage during busy periods.
- Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and individual performance, promoting a culture of innovation.
- Prepare and present daily operational summaries and hold monthly one-on-one discussions with team members.
- Develop and implement standardized stock management procedures and provide training to team members.
- Cultivate strong collaborative relationships with warehouse management to drive ongoing improvements.
- Oversee inbound bookings, manage site storage capacity, and supervise pallet inventory.
- Compile precise data for KPI reporting and maintain relationships with clients and transport providers.
- Ensure accurate documentation of trailers returning to the site and prioritize their processing.
- Act as a deputy for the Stock & Admin Manager when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar software applications.
- Understanding of exemplary customer service principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively, contribute to a team-oriented environment, and support colleagues effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Aptitude for data analysis and trend identification.
- Flexibility to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
- Skill in organizing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
