Raffles London at the OWO is seeking a dedicated and attentive Night In-Room Dining Waiter to join our esteemed Food & Beverage Department.

Reporting directly to the In-Room Dining Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will encompass preparing orders, setting trays with meticulous care, and ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of meals to guest rooms.

Beyond serving, you'll contribute to maintaining a pristine environment by clearing, collecting, and returning food and beverage items to their designated areas. Your commitment to excellence will be evident in every interaction with our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set tables and trays according to the type of food ordered, adhering to the hotel's service standards.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures as outlined for the department.
  • Accurately record, pre-check, and pick up all food and beverage orders.
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and/or beverages served.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing trolleys/trays from guest rooms and corridors.
  • Present accurate checks to guests and complete the payment process efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all food and beverage items on the menu, confidently recommending pairings and alternative options.
  • Check with guests regarding their satisfaction with the meal.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items as needed.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, and other equipment throughout your shift.
  • Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and surrounding area.
  • Adhere to proper appearance and grooming standards while on duty.
  • Facilitate clear communication between the kitchen, order takers, and service team members.
  • Become proficient in using the hotel's point-of-sale (POS) system, order taking systems, inventory software, and other relevant technology.

  • Proven track record of providing high levels of service under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken.
  • A willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
  • Experience in a fine dining establishment is highly desirable.
