- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality control in all areas, ensuring the practice meets regulatory requirements.
- Stock Management: Effectively manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
- Cleanliness and Presentation: Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the practice, creating a welcoming environment for patients.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the practice meets health and safety standards, protecting patients and staff.
- Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement effective marketing strategies, maximizing local marketing effectiveness.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities to drive cost efficiencies, improving profitability and reducing waste.
- Dispensing: Dispense spectacles to prescriptions, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely care.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the sale and supply of spectacles and contact lenses comply with regulatory requirements, particularly for children under 16 and those with visual impairments.
- Management Experience: Proven management experience, with a track record of developing and supporting staff.
- Customer Service: Strong background in customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
- Business Performance: Experience driving business performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiencies.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff at all levels.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act with tact and discretion.
- Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with working hours and provide cover to other practices as needed.
- Professionalism: Well-presented and professional, with a strong attention to detail.
