Job Title: IDAM Test Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our team and deliver rigorous testing of a critical new IDAM solution.

About the Role:

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for testing user-facing journeys and APIs to integrate with systems across the business. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand requirements and support the creation of test scenarios. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Scripting and executing test cases based on requirements for defined scope
  • Preparing reports on the outcome of tests run and communicating these clearly to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the Test Team to deliver the test plan and ensuring all changes are communicated through project governance
  • Supporting identified defects through the agreed defect management process, working with the Test Manager
  • Conducting thorough test analysis and reviewing various inputs for testing, including documented and undocumented requirements, designs, and technical solution designs
  • Collaborating with team members, such as Business Analysts, Architects, and QAs
  • Interpreting testing inputs and deriving test cases accordingly
  • Developing test scenarios from requirements and designs, translating them into actionable test cases
  • Documenting and managing test cases and processes using JIRA
  • Identifying and gathering necessary test data
  • Executing test cases and validating results
  • Contributing to the overall testing process, providing estimates on time, effort, and resources needed for creating and running tests
  • Logging and tracking defects, ensuring timely resolution
  • Re-executing tests as needed to verify defect fixes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience with Identity and Access Management (IDAM/IAM) solutions and deliveries
  • Strong background in authentication and authorisation testing, integration testing, and IDAM system testing, or equivalent test experience
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex testing scenarios and integrations
  • Self-starter with the ability to hit the ground running, as you will be joining the team at the start of end-to-end testing, with an established framework in place
  • Expertise in defining test scenarios and test cases
  • Experience of API Testing (POSTMAN is preferred)
  • Familiarity with functional and non-functional testing (desired)
