Job Overview

Role Objective

The primary objective of this position is to supervise and direct transactional activities, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards while maintaining precise documentation for financial dealings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that Transaction Services and Documentation operations are performed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, assisting the bank in managing legal and reputational risks linked to these operations.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external parties, including legal advisors, credit risk management, and various departments, to guarantee that transactions are completed efficiently and promptly.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and oversee legal documents such as loan agreements, security agreements, and other transactional paperwork to ensure timely execution.
  • Provide transaction support, which includes preparing transaction summaries, conducting due diligence, and offering assistance to other departments as required.
  • Develop and implement transaction processes and protocols to ensure consistent execution of transactions.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and provide legal guidance on applicable laws, rules, and regulations (LRRs). Stay informed about changes to LRRs in the relevant areas of coverage. Ensure that LRRs are properly integrated into relevant policies, standards, and controls.

  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Assess and mitigate risks in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Exhibit leadership and accountability for managing risk and enhancing controls related to the work performed by your team.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other operational areas to stay aligned with business activities and strategies.
  • Develop solutions based on sophisticated analytical thinking, comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis and interpretative thinking will be necessary to define issues and create innovative solutions.
  • Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving processes.
  • Establish and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business goals, utilizing influencing and negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomes.
