About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with students aged 5-16 who are on the autistic spectrum, providing individualized support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to deliver holistic support to our students.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students, promoting their emotional and social well-being.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that students with SEN receive the necessary support and accommodations.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.

Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with SEN is desirable but not essential.
  • A relevant qualification in education or support work would be advantageous.
  • A DBS check will be required prior to employment.
