Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering personalized lessons and adapting materials to meet the needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting students' social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff members to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and track student progress.
  • Use creative and innovative methods to engage students in their learning, helping them to overcome challenges and celebrate their achievements.
Requirements:
  • Passionate about working with young people, particularly those with additional needs.
  • Proactive and resilient, with a good sense of humour and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in education or working with children is essential.
  • Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
