Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ITS (Construction Professionals South) Ltd. The successful candidate will assist with commercial and surveying responsibilities for residential sites, compile reports and schedules, and undertake general commercial administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with maintaining cost control throughout development
  • Assist with accurate costing for each aspect of site development
  • Compile reports on costs and cash flows using available systems
  • Prepare tenders and procure sub-contractors using Group Tender procedures
  • Process Subcontract orders, payments, and variations using Excel and Group payment system
  • Understand and assist with evaluation and agreement of variations and instruction
  • Control all commercial aspects and responsibilities with regards to respective RSL's
  • Attend team meetings as required
  • General departmental administration
Requirements:
  • Recently qualified Quantity Surveying graduate or experienced Assistant Surveyor
  • Knowledge of residential development and surveying procedures
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Future opportunities to progress into Quantity Surveying positions
