About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Aid Trainer to join our team at the British Red Cross. As a First Aid Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering first aid training and specialist courses, teaching life-saving skills to individuals and groups across the London area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality first aid training and specialist courses, teaching participants how to respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving support.
  • Travel to training venues across the London area, providing training to a diverse range of groups and individuals.
  • Support participants in developing their confidence to provide first aid in emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Hold a Training or Teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
  • Have experience of preparing and delivering training courses, and be confident in presenting to mixed-ability groups.
  • Be comfortable working independently and traveling to a range of training venues.
  • Be IT literate and able to use digital tools to support training delivery.
