About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join their team in Macclesfield. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for supporting the Audit Manager in planning and executing audits for a diverse client base. You will also manage the onsite audit team to deliver an efficient audit service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Audit Manager in planning and executing audits
  • Manage the onsite audit team to deliver an efficient audit service
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Review trainee work and manage the wider team

Requirements

  • Experience in the full audit cycle within a practice environment
  • AAT/ATT qualified or studying towards an accountancy qualification
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead and manage people

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary between £28,000 and £36,000 dependant on experience
  • Firm wide benefits package including holidays, pension contributions, study support and staff parking
  • Flexible working hours across a 36 1⁄4 hour working week
