About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Design Engineer to join our team at Metlen Energy & Metals. As a key member of our Grid & Digital Solutions department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of high-voltage systems for our renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise engineering activities for HV system design and development
  • Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials
  • Participate in factory acceptance tests and site commissioning
  • Provide technical assistance and support to site construction and commissioning teams
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in power industry (HV/MV substations, power plants) and/or large-scale construction projects
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Experience in medium or high voltage systems is an advantage
  • Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of power systems analysis software (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSS/E) is an advantage
  • Good background in electrical systems and familiarity with international and European standards
