As a key member of the gallery's digital communications team, you will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content that showcases the gallery's artists, exhibitions, and events.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with the gallery's brand and marketing goals.
  • Write and edit high-quality content for press releases, social media, website articles, and other digital channels.
  • Collaborate with artists, studios, and other stakeholders to create compelling content that highlights their work.
  • Manage and maintain artist biographies, exhibition descriptions, and other written content on the gallery's website.
  • Research and prepare sales dossiers, preview materials, and other written content for exhibitions and art fairs.
  • Participate in writing applications for art fairs and other events.
  • Create content for handouts, wall vinyls, and other printed materials.
  • Proofread and edit all written content for the gallery, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage the gallery's website and other digital communications, including digital invitations and newsletters.
  • Work with the director and other stakeholders to develop video content, including conducting interviews, reviewing edits, and providing feedback.

**Requirements**

  • Background in art history or a related field, with a strong understanding of contemporary art.
  • Proven experience working in a contemporary art institution or commercial gallery.
  • Academic proficiency in writing and editing, with experience creating written content for artwork dossiers.
  • Outstanding English language ability, with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and readable texts for various gallery objectives.
  • Keen sense of detail and solid proofreading abilities.
