About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Physiotherapist (Acute Older Adults), you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with complex conditions, including acute elderly care cases.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote maximum function and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning.
  • Supervise and mentor students, ensuring they receive high-quality education and training.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, driving excellence in patient care and service delivery.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:

  • A CSP-recognized degree or diploma in Physiotherapy.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • Experience in assessing and treating patients with complex conditions, including acute elderly care cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
