We are seeking a skilled Field Service Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the UK mainland. As a trusted professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality service to our customers at all times.
Your primary focus will be on commissioning, servicing, and fault finding of new and existing equipment, including performing electrical and mechanical fault finding on our equipment. You will also be responsible for performing trial test runs to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.
Additionally, you will be required to document the equipment serviced, parts used, and travel/site hours to support customer invoicing. You will also perform preventive mechanical maintenance service calls on customer equipment.
About YouCandidates for this role should have completed a recognised apprenticeship or have reached a minimum level of technical training. You must be able to demonstrate a strong working background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, ideally with separation equipment.
You should have a high level of competence with respect to electronic equipment testing, fault finding, exposure to SCADA, PLCs, and an ability to read schematic diagrams. Previous industry backgrounds could include wastewater, food and brewery, food processing plants, power stations, factory automation, marine, or military.
The role requires daily use of a laptop (provided by the company), and it is essential that you are PC literate and comfortable using these technologies. You must be able to spend several nights away from home as required. A full driving licence is also essential.
