Job Summary:

As a Technical Support Specialist at JSS Associates, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our IT systems, infrastructure, and backup facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Champion: Provide expert support and guidance on the effective use of Microsoft Office 365, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure computers, manage the fleet, and hand over devices to users, including the installation of necessary applications.
  • IT Equipment Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT equipment, including hardware replacement, and manage contact with external suppliers.
  • VAS/Uptime Support Team: Collaborate with the VAS/Uptime support team to ensure prompt resolution of technical incidents and problems.
  • Network and Telephony Support: Provide point-of-escalation support for all network and telephony technical incidents and problems, taking ownership until resolution.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills and experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and backup facilities.
