Job Summary:

Fruition IT is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced software, hardware platforms, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Design and Implementation: Analyze organizational requirements and define software and systems specifications to ensure optimal system performance and service continuity.
  • Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues, escalating to third-party vendors as necessary.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and author technical documentation, including performance specifications and solution designs.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational security procedures and protocols.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead the preparation of technical plans and ensure the assignment of appropriate technical resources.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on solution development, integration, and technical strategies.
  • Risk Management: Conduct impact analysis on design options, managing and assessing associated risks.
  • Operational Procedures: Execute operational procedures such as configuration, implementation, installation, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft 365 Expertise: Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Azure Proficiency: Proficiency with Azure networking, server, storage, and application management.
  • SaaS Experience: Experience with SaaS platforms like Mimecast, Varonis, and Cisco Umbrella.
  • Server and Storage Knowledge: Skilled in HP/Dell Server, SAN/NAS storage solutions, and VMware vSphere.
  • Backup and Recovery: Knowledge of Backup & Recovery technologies (Veeam, Avamar, Zerto).
  • Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and firewall technologies.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
