Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Architect to support the design and implementation of our SAP S4/HANA system in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation:
    • Lead the architectural design and implementation of the SAP S4/HANA system.
    • Develop, communicate, and implement the SAP S4/HANA 3-5 Year Roadmap.
    • Work closely with Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance functions to understand their processes, challenges, and requirements.
    • Translate business needs into technical solutions that leverage SAP S4/HANA capabilities and communicate expected solution benefits and Return on Investment.
    • Work closely with the Digital Delivery Team to ensure projects are scoped, budgeted, and resourced appropriately and all new functionality follows suitable UAT and business approval ahead of go-live.
    • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure successful implementation of SAP technology.
    • Oversee third-party consultants and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Service Desk Management:
    • Manage the daily operations of the SAP service desk, ensuring timely resolution of issues and high levels of user satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement service desk processes and best practices, utilizing ITSM platform where possible.
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize the SAP S4/HANA system to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to business users on SAP S4/HANA functionalities and best practices.
    • Develop user guides, SOPs, documentation, and training materials.
    • Ensure that the SAP S4/HANA system complies with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.
    • Implement security measures to protect sensitive business data.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage SAP-related projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP architecture and implementation, with a focus on SAP S4/HANA.
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate) and relevant certifications in data management and governance (e.g.,).
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain, quality, and finance processes and systems in a pharmaceutical company.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S4/HANA ERP system, processes, and its data structures.
  • Good understanding of peripheral SAP technology and alternative technology solutions to support business processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and to present effectively and defend performance to the CEO and Board.
  • High degree of organization and strong project management skills.
