Key Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Engineering team focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) is in search of a proactive and dedicated individual. This role is essential in enhancing IAM/PAM solutions tailored to meet our organizational needs. The team is integral to developing robust cyber defense mechanisms to safeguard the organization against cyber threats that could compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems.

  1. Contribute to strategic planning and architectural design, leading engineering efforts and producing relevant documentation across identity & access management, privileged access management, and secrets management technologies.
  2. Oversee the effectiveness of controls within the domain area.
  3. Lead and execute smaller projects or specific workstreams as part of broader cyber initiatives.
  4. Manage and implement necessary changes to controls outside of project activities.
  5. Develop key performance indicators, analyses, and documentation to continuously assess and report on control effectiveness and associated risks.
  6. Provide critical support for operational incidents related to domain technologies.
  7. Accountable for ongoing objectives and activities within the domain area.
  8. Address complex challenges related to the domain.
  9. Stay updated with principles, concepts, and emerging technologies relevant to the role.

Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in the engineering and operation of privileged access management (PAM) and/or identity and access management (IAM) technologies, including integration with relevant platforms.
  2. Extensive experience with CyberArk.
  3. Familiarity with various operating systems, platforms, and applications pertinent to the domain.
  4. Understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  5. Knowledge in the domain area and foundational knowledge across related areas.
  6. Proficiency in modern engineering practices and automation to enhance efficiency, including an Infrastructure as Code approach.
  7. Structured problem-solving skills for addressing complex issues.
  8. Familiarity with policies, standards, and security frameworks such as NIST and CIS, with strong documentation skills.
  9. Understanding of security metrics to evaluate control operations and associated risks.
  10. Possession of relevant security or engineering/architecture certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, TOGAF, GIAC, or similar qualifications.
  11. Experience in the financial services industry or regulated environments, with knowledge of compliance frameworks is preferred.
