Position Overview:

As a Cost Management Specialist, you will be integral in overseeing the financial management and cost control of our interior design and fit-out initiatives.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are executed within financial constraints while delivering exceptional quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing precise cost estimates and budgets for various interior design and fit-out projects.
  • Performing cost analysis and managing project finances from initial estimates to final settlements.
  • Collaborating with designers, project leaders, and clients to ascertain project needs and provide accurate financial assessments.
  • Assessing and negotiating contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Monitoring project spending, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations in all financial dealings.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to track project advancement and maintain financial oversight.
  • Addressing any financial disputes or challenges that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in cost management within the interior design, construction, or a related sector.
  • A solid grasp of financial management, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • The capability to handle multiple projects concurrently and thrive under pressure.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid UK driving license.

A relevant degree or diploma in Cost Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.

Professional membership in a recognized cost management institution is considered advantageous.
