The Import Operations Specialist will be an integral part of the Logistics Division, engaging in a high volume of import transactions monthly while adapting to newly established import protocols. This role is crucial for the organization and offers significant career advancement potential, making it an exciting time to join a dynamic team.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with two days of remote work.

Key Responsibilities - Import Operations Specialist

  • Oversee Import Operations, which includes managing tasks such as sourcing, repairs, and Return Material Authorization (RMA), while collaborating with key stakeholders including carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to enhance the importation workflow.
  • Assist in Customs Compliance by managing the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process from RMA to Bill of Discharge, working closely with import brokers to ensure adherence to import and trade regulations, and preparing precise customs clearance documentation.
  • Organize and maintain detailed shipment records, ensuring that all documentation is complete and readily available for auditing purposes, while verifying and reviewing shipping documents for accuracy and compliance with customs standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, maintaining high professional standards, and proactively engage with external partners to address and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications & Skills - Import Operations Specialist

  • Demonstrated experience in import logistics within an international context, with a solid understanding of the IPR process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is advantageous (training available).
  • A collaborative team player with the capability to work autonomously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen and engage with others.
