Head of Partnerships and Strategic Development

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cardiff and Vale University Health Board as we continue to strengthen our priorities and approaches to supporting people with learning disabilities. As a senior lead, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the development and implementation of key Learning Disability strategic objectives and deliver the development, implementation, and evaluation of health service transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with CAVUHB, Cardiff and the Vale Local Authorities, and SBUHB transformation leads, service managers, external partners, service user and carers, and wider public.
- Lead and support the development and implementation of the key Learning Disability strategic objectives and deliver the development, implementation, and evaluation of service transformation.
- Manage dedicated project resources and service resources contributing to Learning Disability delivery.
- Lead and participate in multi-agency planning and transformation groups and support the production of joint strategies and delivery plans.
Essential
- Advanced knowledge and experience of multi-agency strategic planning.
- A good knowledge of the NHS and local authority priorities in the area of Learning Disabilities.
Desirable
- Recognised Project or Programme Management Qualification (Prince2, MSP).
