About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Professional to join our team at Dalkia UK. As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our client's site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a staff team to ensure the effective running of the site, including the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs, statutory compliance, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of our facilities services and operations, deputising for the Facilities Manager and the Front of House Manager in their absence.
  • Work closely with the client to ensure their site is fully compliant with all health and safety legislation and contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the client, their employees, and visitors.
  • Undertake administration tasks, including basic finance, invoicing, and raising purchase requisitions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar management capacity, preferably in a facilities management or maintenance role.
  • Knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Own transport, as there is no public transport to the site location.
