Deputy Sister (Maternity Cover)

Delivering Compassionate Excellence

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Staff Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Sister on maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the smooth operational running of our Urology Triage unit.

Main Duties

As a Deputy Sister, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a role model for junior team members and supporting the development and delivery of high-standard specialist nursing care.
  • Working closely with the ward sister and other members of the unit's management team.
  • Deputizing for the ward sister in her absence.
  • Covering Urology Triage at night, which will enhance your decision-making skills and autonomous practice.
