Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Community Team Leader

Job Overview:

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Community Nursing Team as a Community Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support staff in promoting a service that provides complex nursing care to patients in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality care to patients in the community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Manage and develop the skills and knowledge of team members to enhance their practice.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC.
  • Experience of working in a community setting.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
