Job Summary

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a reliable and security-conscious individual to join our team as a Prison Security Escort. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safekeeping of contractors and their tools and equipment while working within the prison establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document and record contractors' tools and equipment
  • Escort contractors to their designated work areas, ensuring all security gates and doors are locked accordingly
  • Monitor and maintain the security of contractors and their equipment
  • Escort contractors back to the main gate of the prison, ensuring all security gates and doors are locked
  • Document and record contractors' equipment upon departure

Requirements

  • Security clearance by the prison (Hays will organize this)
  • Valid passport or birth certificate and photo driving license
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of address dated within the past 3 months
  • At least 3 years of satisfactory references

What We Offer

  • Weekly payment with a premium rate of £11.44 per hour
  • Relevant training for the role
  • Opportunity to gain experience in a prison environment

Working Hours

Typically Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:45pm with a 1-hour unpaid break. Hours may vary with different projects and establishments.
