Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional to deliver a specialized clinical psychology service tailored for individuals with learning disabilities. This role is for a permanent 0.8 WTE Senior Clinical Psychologist within the Specialist Services division of NHS Grampian.

Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing and enhancing complex care and forensic clinical psychology services for learning disabilities.
  • Collaborating with various professional groups and partner organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Engaging in clinical practice, alongside leadership, supervision, and consultative roles.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess significant post-qualification experience in learning disability forensic services. Experience in leadership and strategic planning will be considered advantageous.

Team Environment: You will be part of a dedicated team of five qualified professionals working across the region's community learning disability teams. The service maintains strong connections with academic institutions and routinely offers core and specialized placements for trainees.
