Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary is seeking a skilled HR professional to join our People and Development function as a Senior HR Advisor within the Policy and Reward team, on a permanent contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the People Services Manager (Policy and Reward team), you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment contributing to people services reward related projects and implementing HR policies, procedures and guidance that support the Constabulary's strategies and priorities.

By developing a thorough understanding of the organisation and with an ability to effectively contribute to policy and reward related projects, you will lead on a variety of projects, engaging with key stakeholders; ensuring outcomes are delivered in a timely manner and in line with organisational priorities, policy and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on policy and reward related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational priorities
  • Contribute to people services reward related projects, implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the organisation, its strategies and priorities
  • Engage with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Implement HR policies, procedures and guidance that support the Constabulary's strategies and priorities
Requirements

You will need to be educated to QCF Level 6 or have work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a comparable level.

Desirable skills and experience include:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience in a policy and reward related role
  • Knowledge of IT systems, including SAP
  • Reporting and analytical skills
