About the Role

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious, award-winning law firm recognized in the Legal 500, providing specialized legal counsel to a diverse clientele in the Private and Healthcare sectors.

This firm is celebrated for its exemplary client service and the caliber of its legal professionals.

In light of the growth and enhancement of the firm's Healthcare Division, there is a need for a skilled Associate/Solicitor to collaborate with the current Healthcare Team, managing a variety of cases encompassing all facets of Clinical Negligence and Health Litigation.

The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a solid background in Clinical Negligence. The firm is experiencing a consistent influx of new cases from private healthcare providers and NHS Resolution, and is in search of a driven, technically proficient lawyer with aspirations to cultivate relationships and deliver an outstanding level of service to clients.

The responsibilities will include overseeing a caseload of defendant clinical negligence matters, representing a range of clients, including NHS Resolution, Medical Defence Union (MDU), independent healthcare providers, and medical malpractice insurers.

Candidate Profile

  • A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • Demonstrated experience in Clinical Negligence
  • Familiarity with NHS Resolution or Medical Defence Organizations is advantageous
  • Strong technical and organizational capabilities
  • A pragmatic and systematic approach to managing various Clinical Negligence claims
  • Ability to adopt a commercial viewpoint on legal matters
  • Highly client-focused
  • A team player willing to mentor and guide less experienced colleagues
