About the Role:

This is a critical position for driving growth in the commercial sector at GLRE Glazing Refurbishment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with glass-focused projects and a deep understanding of the glazing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs from initial design through to completion.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial market.
  • Sub-Contractor Management: Oversee and manage sub-contractors to ensure project deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards across all projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to achieve project deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
  • Excellent sub-contractor management skills.
  • Prior experience with glazing projects, particularly in the commercial sector.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong business acumen.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the glazing industry or similar role.
  • CSCS card is advantageous.
