As a Lead Financial Consultant, you will play a crucial role in advancing our financial services, supporting the Trust's strategic objectives, and making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

Your main focus will be to analyze and provide guidance on complex business management challenges to enhance financial understanding and performance, ensuring the Trust operates with efficiency and integrity.

Specific duties include:

  • Acting as the financial lead for cross-functional projects identified in the Model Hospital/Model Health Systems data.
  • Utilizing internal and external benchmarking data to ensure all financial reports and returns are accurate and compliant with legal standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to foster strong internal relationships and engage with Continuous Improvement, Finance & Procurement Teams.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • CCAB or CIMA full membership.
  • Extensive experience in financial management within the NHS or similar environments.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the acute sector and knowledge of NHS strategy.
  • Familiarity with virtual technologies for meetings and training.

Skills and Abilities

Essential:

  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex information effectively.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
