Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation, is seeking a Digital Project Manager for an initial 7-month contract. This role will be a hybrid of home and office working, with 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support and leadership to assigned digital projects, ensuring effective planning and delivery.
- Take ownership of day-to-day project delivery, managing resources, tasks, and people to meet project goals.
- Organise and coordinate project activities, including data integration, supplier liaison, and stakeholder management.
- Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with suppliers, providers, and partner organisations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report project progress, highlighting exceptions, risks, and issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including partner organisations and workstream leads.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role in the public sector.
- Good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities.
- PRINCE2 Foundation level or significant specialist experience using the methodology.
- Significant experience in project management, change management, and digital transformation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
- Ability to work independently, organise workload, and adapt to changing timescales.
