The Role: Senior Support Team Leader

As a Senior Support Team Leader, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting our team of dedicated Support Workers. You will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each individual we support.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement person-centered care plans, collaborating with families and professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to Support Workers, fostering a culture of excellence in care delivery.
  • Manage staff rotas effectively, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Assist with medication administration and maintain accurate records, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with individuals we support, empowering them to develop essential life skills and achieve their aspirations.
  • Participate in an on-call rota system, providing hands-on support when required.
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience working and leading a team in a supported living environment is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in providing personal care and support to individuals with diverse needs.
  • Strong understanding of mental health principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
