About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team as a Ward Manager at Nelson House, a 28-bedded Rehabilitation and Recovery mental health unit. The successful candidate will have a passion for rehabilitation and a strong leadership style to motivate and support our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team and manage the running of the wards, ensuring high-quality patient care and a safe clinical environment.
  • Plan, oversee, and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, patient care, and the clinical environment.
  • Be responsible for staffing, rota management, and ensuring the ward complies with statutory regulations and current legislation.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide support to the team as needed.
