About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second Chef to join our Meallmore team at Hilton Court. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing, and cooking meals that cater to the diverse dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless food service and exceptional resident satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Adhere to food budget guidelines and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food allergies is desirable.
  • Strong culinary skills and creativity to prepare appetizing meals.
  • Proficiency in food safety practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are desirable.
