Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team on a flexible working basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries, assessing patient health and well-being, and developing care plans that meet the needs of our patients.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries, including ophthalmic procedures
  • Assess patient health and well-being, identifying potential risks and developing care plans to mitigate these risks
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our patients, taking into account their individual needs and circumstances
  • Work collaboratively with our Theatre team to ensure the smooth delivery of surgical procedures

Requirements

  • Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse with a strong background in ophthalmic care
  • NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions on your pin
  • At least 2 years scrub experience, with a strong understanding of Theatre protocols and procedures
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
