We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner to join our dynamic Theatre team on a flexible working basis.
As a Bank Ophthalmic Scrub Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries, assessing patient health and well-being, and developing care plans that meet the needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries, focusing on ophthalmic procedures.
- Assess patient health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
- Develop care plans that are tailored to the patient's needs, taking into account the care pathway, perioperative risks, and overall well-being.
- Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse with NMC or HCPC registration and no restrictions on your PIN.
- Ophthalmic experience is essential for this role.
- At least 2 years of scrub experience in a surgical/Theatre setting.
- Highly motivated and experienced in working in challenging yet rewarding environments.
- Competitive hourly rates for bank colleagues.
