Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Aircraft Systems Engineer to join our team at Thales. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating aircraft In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity Systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Engineering: Generate engineering modeling, fabrication drawing, assembly drawing, and other required documentation for parts and assemblies using appropriate CAD tools.
  • Installation/Integration Engineering Design: Develop engineering design and processes for installing Thales InFlyt Experience products onto a variety of airframes.
  • Program/Project Functions: Support multiple programs simultaneously and ensure customer technical requirements are met for the integration of IFEC equipment on multiple aircraft platforms.
  • System Engineering: Gain a working knowledge of the complete Thales IFE System and other systems integrating to it.
  • Communication: Participate in the development of system reliability reports and presentations, and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautics Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with aircraft OEM documentation and aircraft structures.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, CAD tools, and industry standards.
  • Experience using 2D and 3D CAD required.
  • Proven ability to comprehend functional operation, analyze problems, and identify root cause and corrective actions.
