Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, achieving maximum profitability against agreed sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Commercial and Operations teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy.
- Develop and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals to customers, showcasing Woodland Group's expertise and value proposition.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and market intelligence.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies and tactics, aligned with Woodland Group's business objectives.
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding or a related field, with a strong understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
